Cooking Camps
Designed for Pediatric Cancer Patients and their siblings ages 5-10, our pediatric cooking camps will help your child become a more creative and confident cook! In this 4-day session, your young chef will enjoy delicious, hands-on cooking while having fun in the kitchen. They’ll learn essential cooking techniques, basic food prep skills, and kitchen safety as they flip omelets, chop vegetables, air-fry chicken tenders, and more. Plus, every young chef will go home with a cookbook, food chopper, apron, and other goodies.
Age exceptions are occasionally made based on skill level. Please contact us with questions or concerns regarding the age of your young chef.
In our kitchen, we teach anti-inflammatory eating and sustainable substitutes. The ingredients we use are always non-GMO, mostly organic, and simply delicious. Our story has given our family a jumpstart on these changes, and we have been sharing them ever since.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Your young chef will learn to heighten their culinary skills, as we work with each child to make improvements from where they are. We take a good, better, and best approach in educating them on foods that will build the body up rather than tear it down. Our curriculum also teaches basic table etiquette, table setting, and a few tips/tricks on entertaining.
Camp is Monday – Thursday, 9am – 12pm (3 hours per day, unless otherwise noted.)
Each day of camp is hands-on, you will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the session. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
Please advise us of any food allergies before camp.
WHAT'S ON THE MENU

WHAT TO BRING
Your young chef must bring a non-serrated knife with a sleeve or guard. Be sure to have them practice with flat food or playdough before attending class. This will give your young chef some basic experience to build upon at camp.
