Ingredients

  • 1 onion, minced

  • 1 Tablespoon olive or coconut oil

  • 1 Tablespoon grass-fed butter

  • 1 -2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3/4 cup whole sour cream

  • 3/4 cup plain whole yogurt

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped

  • 1/2 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

  • Garlic powder to taste (optional)

Directions

  • Sauté the onions in the olive oil and butter until they turn a rich golden color
  • Add the garlic and stir until you smell the garlic aroma
  • Shut off the burner and set aside to cool
  • In a separate bowl combine the sour cream, yogurt and fresh parsley
  • Add onion mixture, salt, pepper and lemon juice; stir all together
  • Refrigerate

Notes

  • Note: If you are serving the ranch immediately, taste it and add garlic powder as needed. You can omit garlic powder if serving the next day
  • Flavors will permeate the dressing if left in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours or overnight
  • Serve with Kevin’s Hot Wings, raw vegetables or spread on sandwiches and burgers.
