  • 3 pounds green beans, washed and ends removed.

  • 3 Tablespoons butter (plus 1 Tablespoon to toast almonds)

  • Pink Himalayan salt and pepper to taste

  • 1/2 Cup slivered almonds, toasted


  • Bring large pot of water to boil.
  • Add beans and boil for 9 – 12 minutes or until desired tenderness.
  • Drain water. Toss beans in butter and season with salt and pepper.
  • Toast slivered almonds in 1 Tablespoon butter and add to beans just before serving.
