  1. 1 Tablespoon coconut oil
  2. 2½ cups water
  3. 2½ cups whole milk (coconut milk may be substituted for a dairy free option)
  4. ½ cup cream (coconut milk may be substituted for a dairy free option)
  5. 1 cup steel cut oats
  6. 1 cup rolled oats
  7. 2 teaspoons vanilla
  8. ⅓ cup maple syrup
  9. 1½ teaspoons cinnamon
  10. 3 small apples of your choice, diced or grated
  1. Grease the crockpot with coconut oil
  2. Combine water, milk, cream, oats, vanilla, maple syrup, cinnamon and apples in crockpot
  3. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 2 hours
Top With
  1. ½ cup chopped pecans
  2. Drizzle of maple syrup and a dash of cinnamon.
  3. Feel free to get creative with this one and add another warming spice or some fresh fruits for the topping.
